The local town festival was the end of July. We usually don't take too much of it in, but do usually watch the parade on Saturday morning. This year both J & K were involved with the parade - J's workplace (IGA - grocery store) had a van in it and J tossed small bags of chips to the spectators.
K's 4H horse club rode in the parade. Because she was still not allowed to ride due to breaking her arm in May (she's now back to regular activity as of September 1), she was going to be riding in a wagon and another girl was supposed to ride Prince. Prince, however, was acting up and K ended up leading him behind the wagon, which worked well. This is not a great pic, but sadly it's the best one we got!
